Introduction

Towards the end of your cycle to work hire agreement with Vivup, you’ll need to decide what you want to do with the bike and/or cycle equipment you have hired. This outlines the three options available to you.

Extended use of the cycle equipment

You can sign up to the ‘extended use agreement’. The length of your extended agreement will depend your chosen hire agreement. This is five years for a 12 month agreement, and four and a half years for an 18 month agreement. You can continue to use the bike and accessories at no further cost. Therefore your salary will no longer be sacrificed and you will receive your full wage.

This is the most common option taken by employees.

Buy the cycle equipment

If you would like to buy the equipment after your initial agreement, you can pay Vivup the fair market value (FMV) for the bike and equipment. This is a percentage of the original value of the goods.

Return the cycle equipment

If you would like to return the bike and cycle equipment at the end of the hire agreement, Vivup will make arrangements with you to collect everything from you.
