Manager self-service (iTrent)

    Introduction

    This is a web-based self-service application that allows you to access personal details, sickness and leave records and expense claims for the staff you manage.

    Application overview

    You can use manager self-service to:

    • view employee personal details and employment information
    • view your team members training records
    • record staff sickness absence
    • authorise annual, special or unpaid leave requests
    • approve claims for travel and expenses.

    Please note:
    Your account is private to you and all your information is held securely.

    Request an account login

    Your manager will request for an account to be set up for you when you join the council.

    Check your emails for an invitation. This will include your username and a temporary password.

    You will be asked to update your password the first time you login in.

    When we receive your email we will:

    • confirm your role with your manager
    • update your account with the appropriate access.

    Help and support

    We have now added help text to various tasks within iTrent to make them easier for you to complete. This includes how to:

    • view your team members job details
    • action leave requests
    • manage absences.

    Look out for a question mark icon at the top of task based pages. This provides you with:

    • step-by-step instructions
    • useful tips
    • explanations of what certain fields and options mean.
