    If you need to order ID badge accessories, or destroy an ID badge, follow the guidance below.

    ID badge accessories

    The following items are available to order to accompany an ID badge:

    Plastic holder - 15p
    This is a plastic holder for an ID badge. It can be used with either a metal chain, lanyard or clip.

    Metal chain - 25p
    The badge holder can attach this to the plastic holder and wear it around their neck.

    Clip - 20p
    The badge holder can attach this to the plastic holder, and then clip it to clothing, such as a trouser pocket or waistband.

    Follow the steps below to order badge accessories.

    Send an email

    To order badge accessories, you can:

    Include in your email:

    • your first and last name
    • name of school
    • which items you wish to purchase
    • if you wish to pay by invoice (if your school has its own bank account)
    • your cost and detail code (if your school doesn’t use a bank account).

    What happens next

    The document and data processing team will:

    • process your order
    • charge your cost and detail code, or send you an invoice (as relevant)
    • send your badge accessories via our internal school delivery service.

    Destroy an ID badge

    Follow these steps if you have:

    • received a replacement ID badge
    • a badge from a staff member who has left the school.

    Destroy the badge

    Destroy your badge or the badge of someone who has left the school by cutting it in half.

    Send an email

    You should let us know you have destroyed your old badge or the leaver’s badge. You can:

    Include in your email the:

    • name on the badge
    • job title on the badge.

    What happens next

    The document and data processing team will either:

    • update your details
    • remove the details from our records.
