    • Training loans

    This policy supports employees in undertaking vocational or career-related training that may not be immediately essential to their current role but adds future value to Council services. Loans are interest-free, capped at twice the employee's net monthly pay, and must be repaid within 12 months via payroll. They can be used for tuition, exam fees, and books (not travel or subsistence) and require proof of use. Misuse of the loan may result in disciplinary action.
