    This policy provides employees with the right to take up to one week of unpaid leave per year to care for a dependant with a long-term care need. This leave is available from day one of employment and can be taken in flexible increments. The policy outlines eligibility, the request process, and the responsibilities of both employees and Managers. It also highlights additional support available, including flexible working options, wellbeing resources, and access to carers' networks. The aim is to help employees balance work with caring responsibilities while maintaining wellbeing and job retention.
