Attracting a modern workforce:

Financial inclusion

Description

The financial inclusion staff forum focused on the help and support available to all staff facing challenging financial times as the cost of living crisis starts to bite. Staff found out about the support available from the council as well as from external organisations.

Experts from the Money and Pensions Service, Citizens’ Advice Bureau and Hull and East Yorkshire Credit Union, as well as council officers, gave advice and support as staff deal with the increase in household bills and the rising cost of fuel and food prices. It provided vital information for everyone from those who are currently managing financially but are concerned about the future, those who are, or may be approaching financial crisis point and those who may be supporting family or friends with their finances.

The downloadable document highlights the questions asked during the forum and a written response to each.
