If you have checked that you qualify for the cycle to work scheme, the next steps are to:
- consider what bike and/or cycling equipment you would like to hire
- get an estimate to the total value of your order.
You’ll need this information so you can complete a review of your finances and make sure that you can afford the monthly hire agreement payments.

What is available to hire
You can hire a range of bikes and/or cycling equipment including:
- road, mountain, and touring bikes
- electric or hybrid bikes
- accessible cycles
- replacement parts, such as pedals and lights to keep a bike roadworthy
- clothing and safety wear
- pumps, puncture repair kits and cycle tool kits for minor repairs.
As part of the scheme as long as you meet the general qualifying criteria and qualifying journeys criteria, you can hire:
- up to two bikes
- any cycle equipment available through Vivup or your local bike shop that works with Vivup.

- a local bike shop who are part of the Vivup scheme.
