    Introduction

Are you looking to make some lifestyle changes, such as changing your eating habits or getting more exercise? Making the leap from thinking about change to taking action can be hard, but you can get help through the Live Well Work Well consultation programme.

    What does the programme involve

The programme offers you a minimum of 6 one-to-one consultation sessions. These are with a member of the Live Well Work Well team and can be held via:

    • Microsoft Teams
    • telephone
    • face-to-face.

As part of the programme you’ll receive support to:

    • set achievable goals and overcome any barriers

    • create a personal plan to make positive changes to your health and wellbeing for the long-term

    • access other support services, such as staff networks and health trainers.

These are available to all staff, including casual or part-time employees.

What you can get help with

The team can support you to:

    • manage and improve your physical health – through body composition scans, identifying visceral fat and managing blood pressure
    • take care of your mental wellbeing – with guidance and support tailored to your needs
    • manage musculoskeletal (MSK) pain – such as chronic hip, knee and back pain
    • navigate a cancer diagnosis and recovery – with dedicated cancer rehabilitation support
    • address obesity and diabetes – help with weight management and increased physical activity
    • stop smoking
    • reduce your alcohol consumption.

    Please note:
If you’d like to take part in a group consultation, you don’t have to arrange your own group. We can bring you together with other members of staff who would prefer to work on their goals in a group environment.
