Introduction
Our IT system that allows users to request access or report IT faults, find guidance and support and action requests made by services.
Application overview
You can use the ICT customer portal to:
- log a ticket regarding an issue or fault
- raise a request, such as for access to a system or for a website update
- place an order for IT equipment
- view your open and recently closed tickets and add further notes
- view any approvals awaiting your response
- check a system status
- access the knowledge base help information and documentation to learn more.
Advanced access
If your service uses the ICT customer portal to receive service requests, you may also require advanced access, known as agent application access.
This will allow you to:
- view and action a ticket
- request further information from the person who has raised it
- close the request and notify the user.
Request an account login
Networked computer users
If you are connected to the council network, you will automatically be logged in with your network username and password. Your initials will be displayed in the top right corner of your screen.
Staff working in the field
If you can still access ICT customer portal while working in the field, you’ll need to log in using your Microsoft account.
Advanced access
To access the agent application area of the ICT customer portal, you will need a licence.
If you work in role where you are required to action service requests, your manager will arrange a licence for you.
