DBS online (eBulk 2000)

    Introduction

    This is a comprehensive management solution that allows you to submit and manage multiple background check applications online.

    There are three types of checks available:

    • basic - these show unspent convictions and conditional cautions
    • standard - these show spent and unspent convictions and cautions
    • enhanced - the same as the standard check, plus any information held by the police considered relevant to the role.

    Please note
    The type of check required depends on the role the employee is undertaking. When you select a role in DBS online, it will apply the correct check to the application.

    Application overview

    You can use DBS online to:

    • request one or multiple DBS checks
    • download results
    • update service user records
    • join the DBS update service.
