Introduction
The course finder and booking system offers more than 1,000 internal and external adult learning courses. These are provided through our learning, skills and workforce development team and adult learning and employability service.
Application overview
You can search for a range of adult learning courses, including:
- virtual or classroom-based sessions
- staff only learning opportunities
- eLearning (you'll complete these using the eLearn system once you have signed up to them)
- professional qualifications
- workshops to learn new skills or start a new hobby.
Request an account login
The account process is automated for you as a new starter at the council, once you are added to employee self-service (iTrent).
You will receive an email that includes a link to the course finder to complete your account set up. Once you select the link, you will need to:
- confirm your date of birth
- set your password.
Once you have done this, you'll be able to login using your council email address and password and view staff courses. If you don't login to the course finder, you will only be able to view the adult education courses available to the public.
