    Introduction

Our staff parking scheme is offered through MiPermit, the same operator who manages public digital parking tickets and permits across the region.

To be able to purchase staff only permits and benefit from the savings available to staff, you will need a staff account. This must be set up by our parking team, who will use your council email address for your account login.

    What happens next

Once the parking team receive your application, they will:

    • verify that you are a current council employee
    • check that you qualify for a permit
    • set up a MiPermit account for you
    • send your login details to you via email.

You can then use these details to purchase either monthly or flexible permits.

    Already registered with MiPermit?

If you already have an account with MiPermit through the public scheme, but wish to benefit from the savings offered to you as a staff member, you’ll still need to a staff account.

We are unable to apply the savings to your current account, or any permits you currently purchase.
