Staff parking permits:

3.Monthly parking permits

On this page:

    Introduction

Once you have a staff MiPermit account, you can purchase a monthly permit at a special reduced rate.

    Please note:

You can not purchase more than one of each type of permit. For example you can not purchase two permits for Beverley.

    5
    Renewal

You can choose for your parking permit to be renewed automatically, or you can renew it manually each time.

    Automatic renewal

    If you choose automatic renewal:

    • your renewal payment is taken 7 days before your current permit expires
    • you’ll receive an email notification each time this happens
    • your permit will be renewed each month until you opt out of the renewal option.

To request automatic renewal, tick the checkbox next to Automatically renew my permit.

Make sure your payment can be taken

If you are paying by debit card, make sure you have enough money in your bank or building society account before payment for your permit is taken.

If your credit or debit card expires or you are issued with a replacement, make sure you update your details on your MiPermit account.

You are responsible for any penalty charge notice issued due to a failed payment. We recommend that you check payment has been successful each month.

    Manual renewal

If you decide not to automatically renew your permit you can login to MiPermit whenever you want to purchase a new one.

Don’t accidentally get a penalty charge notice!

Make sure you know when your permit runs out and remember to renew your permit before leaving your car in the car park.

You are responsible for any penalty charge notice issued due to an expired permit.

    What happens next

Once you have paid for your permit using a credit or debit card, it will be valid for 1 month from the start date you selected.

You can check the details of your permit at any time by selecting Digital permits from the main menu.

    Use of a second vehicle

If you use a second vehicle to travel to work, you can still park using your monthly permit.

You just need to make sure you update the vehicle details so that the correct registration number is registered on your permit before you leave your vehicle in the car park.

You can change the vehicle on your permit as often as required.
