5.Guidance for parking permit holders

    If you have purchased permits through our staff parking permits scheme, find out how to amend your vehicle details or request a refund.

    Amend your vehicle details

    Request a refund

    You can change the vehicle registered on your monthly parking permit as often as you need. Just follow the steps below.

    Access MiPermit

    Use the link provided in your email to access MiPermit.

    Login

    Login to your account with your council email address and chosen password.

    Edit registration

    Select Manage Digital Permits in the main menu.

    Amend the registration number is the Vehicle registration field.

    Select Save details.

    Monthly permits

    Flexible permits

    Each time you activate a flexible permit, you'll be asked to enter the registration for the vehicle you are parking on that day. Only 1 permit can be activated daily.

    Once the permit has been activated you cannot amend the vehicle details, however you can use a different vehicle with your permits on another day.

    Monthly permits

    Unfortunately we are unable to refund any period of time left on a monthly parking permit due to the short nature of the permit.

    If you no longer need your permit, make sure you opt out of automatic renewal at least 8 days before it is due to expire.

    Flexible permits

    If you have unused flexible permits and no longer have a use for them, you can return them for a refund. You will receive the cost of any unused permits, minus a £29 admin fee.
