While you are working or visiting County Hall, you have various places to grab lunch, snacks or refreshments.
Micro Market
The Micro Market is a self-service refreshment hub located in The Point and offers:
- cold drinks
- sandwiches
- salads
- chilled foods
- snacks
- crisps
- confectionery
- fruit
- scones.
Items are priced individually.
Scones
Our new range of scones are available from the Micro Market from Monday 4 May. We offer a range of flavours on a four-week rotation, including:
- blueberry
- chocolate and orange
- white chocolate and raspberry
- sultana
- cheese.

How to pay
Use the self-service checkout to pay for any items. The Micro Market is cashless. You can pay using:
- chip and pin debit or credit card
- contactless debit or credit card, phone or smartwatch.

Hot drinks machines
You’ll find hot drinks machines at:
- The Point, Block K
- Outside meeting room 8, Block F.
Refreshments
You can choose from the following:
- Americano
- Cappuccino
- Latte
- Tea
- Hot chocolate.
Hot water and soya milk is also available.
How to pay
All drinks cost £1.90, unless you use your own cup, then you’ll get a 20p discount.
Payment options at the self-service machines include:

- contactless debit or credit card, phone or smartwatch.
Sourcing our produce
We believe in supporting our community by sourcing produce from the local area wherever possible. By working with trusted suppliers like Turner Price in Hull and Tiffin Sandwiches in Bradford, we champion Yorkshire based producers. By doing so, we also support local manufacturers, such as Primepak Foods in Driffield and Elliott Eggs in Bewholme.
Tiffin Sandwiches provide the sandwiches and salads available in the Micro Market at The Point.
